IITs are among the top technical institutions in India and are also famous all over the world because of their alumni like Sundar Pichai, Narayan Murti etc.
In India, if someone has to join IIT then they have to clear a highly competitive exam (IIT JEE) after their 12th grade to get into Btech courses in streams like Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
Every year around 10 lakh students attempt to get into IITs but only 10K-12K students get admission which can tell about the level of competition.
